Middle School – Feeder League
The Evansville Community Tennis Association has helped fund the local Middle School program for several years. With our efforts we have helped nearly 1000 young players learn and enjoy the game. This is a free program designed to get kids involved with their local school and community. Every year, volunteer coaches work with the players to teach them the fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship and teamwork. Teams compete against each other in a fun, all inclusive format that allows each and every player to play and contribute to his or her team’s success. Balls, uniforms and equipment are donated to the teams through various fundraising and donations. Each year ETC hosts a free Junior High Clinic before season to provide a fun instructional day for players and coaches. The University of Southern Indiana Men’s and Women’s team help instruct and participate in an fun exciting exhibition match. The Middle School Program (league) is one of a kind, and a great place to learn the game or continue to improve through a more social team atmosphere.
